This album is dedicated to the memory of Gary Heyne.
Gary Heyne was an amazing musician and a great friend to me. Sadly he passed away in 2010, at that time the world lost a great person, a person with great passion for life and music, a person that really cared and changed many peoples lives.

We first met in 1986 while working together at Evans Music City and Rockin Robin Gtrs and Music in Houston, TX. We played in many bands together, did radio spots for KLOL, recorded a ton of music and of course worked together on the Mogultone lap steels that he and Johnny Heath created.

In 2004 while Gary was in Iraq he sent me these three tracks that he created in GB. He asked me to record some lap steel parts on to them as a project we would continue with after he returned. We never finished the album as Gary moved to China and helped start Boxing Cat Breweries. If you get to China, go find a Boxing Cat Brew and tip one for Gary.

I have permission from his family to put this up for those who knew Gary and for ALL to enjoy.
